Khmer Royal Palace

     
         With its great Khmer rooftops and elaborate overlaying, the Royal Palace commands the little horizon of Phnom Penh. It's a striking structure close to the riverfront, bearing an astounding resemblance to its partner in Bangkok.

Being the official home of King Sihamoni, parts of the huge royal residence compound are shut to people in general.
